Meet the Pasta Earrings

We've talked about how these pasta earrings came to be, the eight months, the prototypes, the manufacturing hiccups. Now we just want to show them off. These photos were taken by our talented friend Addy Naccarato, and honestly they speak for themselves. Meet the set:

The Farfalle Earrings

The bowtie pasta that was always destined to be an earring. The farfalle are our most recognizable shape, instantly readable, a little dramatic, and impossible to wear without someone asking about them. Cast in stainless steel and PVD-plated in 14k gold, they're waterproof, tarnish resistant, and built to last.

The Ravioli Earrings

A pillow of gold for each ear. The ravioli are the most substantial of the three, the scalloped edges, the dimensional center, the weight of something that actually looks like what it's supposed to be. Equally at home dressed up or completely casual.

The Cavatappi earrings

Cavatappi: the underrated pasta, the overachieving earring. The corkscrew shape catches light differently at every angle which makes them particularly fun to wear, they're never quite the same earring twice. Also the most likely to make people do a double take.

All three pasta earrings are available now at sleepymountain.com $48 each, original 3D designs, cast in stainless steel and PVD plated in 14k gold. Waterproof, tarnish resistant, hypoallergenic. They were worth the wait and we think you'll agree. See Addy's instagram here.
